Handmade Brigade of Orange County Indie Holiday Craft Show this Sunday, Nov 1st!

If you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Handmade Brigade of Orange County Indie Holiday Craft Show at The Camp in Costa Mesa this coming Sunday on November 1st, 2009.  Click here for a Google map to The Camp.  There are over 40 vendors selling the most amazing creations and I’ll have a table with my wares too.  Here’s a tiny smattering (there was too much to choose from for my nine-pic mosaic!) of what you might find.  This will not be your typical craft show!  Come early and get a free goody bag – a handmade HBOC printed recycled t-shirt bag filled, well, really stuffed to the gills with great swag and goodies from vendors and sponsors.  You don’t want to miss out on these!

  2. Hello,

I work with the Orange County Fair, and I just wanted to provide information on our Fair competitions that we are hoping you can blog about. There are many competitions to choose from, but a few in particular that could use an extra push. Jewelry making and Hand Crafts & Hobbies are two areas where we would like to encourage participation. Within these areas are Jewelry Art, Amateur Jewelry and Professional Jewelry. Hand Crafts and Hobbies also has several categories such as pottery, scrapbooking, knitting, china painting, polymer clay, miniature creations, models, paper crafts, china and tole making, class, beading, and etc. Most divisions are open to all California Residents. You can enter online at ocfair.com/competitions. There is a small entry fee, but monetary awards are offered in most categories. Plus entrants have the opportunity to have their items showcased and potentially sold! There are adults and youth divisions (Juniors-9-12 and young adults 13-18). The deadline to enter is by midnight May 26! More information can be found at ocfair.com/competitions, but if you have any particular questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for your help!
